Deliberately underexposed, and star-point filter enabled. I just couldn't make the K-50 take a photo of its supplanter

Nice! By the way, it looks like that image format can only be viewed in Chrome.

Google photos has overpowered Picasa completely now, it seems. Time to re-host elsewhere - but that's OK, probably half my shots there are for-sale pics of long-ago sales.

Photo replaced with a PF upload - take that google! Another blow against tyranny.. and all that.

Typical google, pushing out their proprietary formats

Niiiiiiiiiice!

Just curious, does it come with the brown leather strap like some of the other previous silver editions?

Congratulations, Jim - that really is a fine looking setup. The 20-40 is very smart in silver, isn't it?

I didn't see a special strap now you've done it, I'm really dissatisfied. Or does it say "Ricoh" on it?

I have the gun metal K3 edition and the supplied brown 'leather' strap has Pentax embossed on one end of the wide section and 2014 TIPA Best Digital SLR Expert K-3 embossed on the other - very understated and only able to be read from a distance of about 30cms.

I am just rubbing salt in the wound as I really like the silver lens you are sporting - I have the HD 21 in silver and like its looks very much.

Meh. Old hat. This was taken nearly three years ago

Seriously though, great camera, and a great lens if you get a better copy than mine was.

Ah but yours doesn't sparkle like my filtered glamour-shot
Very cool - and yours must have the excellent strap!

I'll have to re-read your zoom post, I recall it did not meet your expectations.
I re-read your review, and yes field curvature was big on my 1st copy. I haven't tested this one yet.
