I have to admit, that I'm impressed by the level of detail/sharpness and tonal range that the K1 now offers to me.

Warm colors, nice with the splitting of shadow and sun - it fits the structure of the church

You know my style of photography, I can't recommend this camera enough, it's for me just a great bit of kit for "Ladies" to be seen out and about with.

Very impressive - I like the sharp, diagonal line unambiguously separating illuminated and shadow areas. Neat photo, for sure.

I haven't been able to talk myself into a K-1 yet because of its bulk, but photos like this may change my mind.

I wouldn't hesitate in the purchasing of this camera, it seems to be working fine for my needs.

So are we all - even those of us who can't justify the cost (or can't get support from Director of Finance).

After a day or two you won't notice that little extra size or weight anymore. People say they hate to schlepp around all this heavy gear and look for a lighter option. Here is the thing, take a moment and compare your camera gear with what women carry around in their handbags every day and if your wife (if you have one) is like my wife please put her handbag on a pair of scales, you will be blown away by what they carry around. Do they complain ? No ! Will they offload their makeup kit to travel lighter ? No chance. And when I travel with my wife her bag gets heavier every day, My camera bag at least stays the same.

Have I convinced you ?

So stop complaining

- go for it and start enjoying a fantastic camera.
