Nice shots, capturing black on black is not easy.

As a musician I find the hard shadow edge on the soundboard of the guitar a distraction and it jars with me. Was this caused by a reflector/barn door perhaps? It could be fairly difficult to remove in PP but might be worth a try.

Ditto on the guitar. Very nice light on the face and hands, nice separation from the background, I know this is not easy. Pose 2 is the nicer IMHO

Prefer the profile shot by far. On the shadows on the guitar; if too difficult to process them out, would a crop be a viable option? Do you need to show the whole instrument to for the image to communicate the message?

Crop the second one just below the head of the guitar on the third fret or so and you have a winner! All the issues with the guitar go away.
