Along the path - Forest walks

K-1 and FA 50 macro...

Studies of things that don't make you step off the path....

I love the flippy-screen and live view for low angle shots... the next 2 shots brought to you via the K-1 flippy screen.

It's definitely the time of year for super saturated colours.

Nice stuff, Norm. The first and last ones are perfect bookends for a great series.

Something about the two (1st & 5th I believe) with leaves floating on (or enmeshed in the surface tension of) the water, are particularly striking for me. They seem like some kind of artist created window. They evoke that kind of glassy plane at the same time their three-dimentionality seems to pop.

The one with the brown mushroom is especially nice, too.

Beautiful series sir. Each one is my very favorite. I do believe that k-1 has found a permanent home, Nice to see someone other than myself using some vintage Pentax-A/-M lenses. They do a terrific job. Thanks so much for sharing.

I have no problem acknowledging favorites, but I hate ranking favorites. Ranking causes me rancor.

Picking favourites is tempered by the knowledge that when my wife comes along I might have to change my mind.
