tessfully – love the use of both leaves and reflected leaves 3rd
atupdate - good justopositon of the red leaves and brown wood

GibbyTheMole – excellent lighting and use of macro
robiles – very interesting shot
MacLo – I really like the diagonal composition
sealonsf – almost a selective colour shot, love the idea for this one

normhead – greatcontrast of the central leaf and the “needle” leaves

gregsamuel I like the layered effect here
SkilakDeZoo – superb lighting and very graphic composition

mtux – very clever composition and spot on focus –love the reflected leaves in the drop

My top three….Tessfully, SkilakDeZoo and mtux
and the winner is ….SkilakDeZoo for simple but effective image, a dazzling image

Tessfully and mtux equal seconds, both with clever use of water and reflections but with different takes on use of colour!

And a hearty thanks to Stephen for this challenge that has been a delight to see. And it could not have been easy picking a winner here-probably induced a headache and/or a stiff whiskey afterwards .

Thank you very much to all of you. I do not know what to say but definitely it is my pleasure to be the winner but even greater pleasure is to be a winner among so amazing competitors.

To those who would like to experiment and get something similar, a quick guidance of the set up:
- A flash in remote mode,
- Two sheets of clear glass (make sure the sheets are thick enough)
- A camera (the best would be Pentax
- two chairs to support the glass sheets

Simply, put whatever you like between the sheets of glass, set the flash below (use diffuser for light homogeneity), expose and shot (tripod would help a lot).
