Tis is my first judging.I am not someone who looks at all the technical details (other then taken with Pentax obviously).
Normally I look at a photo and decide if I like it or not. That will therefore also be my major guide in this quest.
I liked all photos that came in, so there are no losers to start of with
honorable mentions:
charliezap: This is a very colorfull evening. I Always have a lot of difficulties getting nice pictures in the late evening. You got this one perfect. In my opinion your Facebook friends picked the best one.
noelcmn : Waterdroplets equals reflections. nice close up of a the flower. You got all the droplets tack sharp.
geomez : this one fits you nickname. All these little cubes. No idea what they are ( I suspect some kind of crystal) but how did you pull this one of.
And now the three I liked most.
First Place:
sealonsf : This is my favorite. The colors pop out magnificent. also the angle is something I like a lot.. it would be perfect in jumbo size on a wall. We only have white waterlillys overhere, but these are so elegant.
Second Place:
slowpez : I really like the strong color(s) of the jellyfish in this photo against the pitch black. Must have been hard to get this one turn out so nice without a load of noice.
Third Place:
mattb: In this photo I really like the clouds that reflect in the surface of the water. It must have been a bit nippy when you took this one. Besides that I love winter landscapes..
Once again, great photos and just like pizzavandriver, I wish I had a little more experience to be able to judge the entries a bit more on their technical merits. I liked all of them and congratulations to sealonsf.
