As with film where you sent the photo to the lab and had it stepped on or dodged or Burned to your specifications...The art of photography is a process. Beginning with the subject and the composition it continues on with the settings and way in which the camera is held...all of this can be augmented and aided by good post processing. The final results is what matters....Even the old time pros processed the photo to get the intended results...I've yet to see written in stone by the Good Lords hand that post processing is a sin..It's not it is a gift to us under experienced and wayward photogs...LOL
