Here are some shots from a Super Multi Coated Takumar 200mm f4.0 M42 lens. Like all the M42 SMC Takumars this is a beautifully made metal and glass lens with that velvety smooth Takumar focusing touch. All the pictures are ISO 100 at f4.0 using raw files from a k200d. The only processing on the files is the levels were set in PS elements 9. The raw conversions were done in UFraw. The first two pictures were taken to be similar to the shots in the Vivitar Series One 200mm f3.0 thread. I noted none of the purple fringing problems with this lens that the Vivitar had.

You have quite a bit of both green and purple fringing in image #2. Just FYI. But I would expect that from many lenses in that shot.
