I have a strobist kit and didn't know it. I have been using 2 285HV's with umbrellas for a few years for portraits and weddings. I have a Wein peanut slave on one and a Vivitar slave on the other, fire them with an on-camera flash. Works pretty good for a lighting system on a budget.
