Tribute to Mary Jo

The lady next door was a good friend to my parents when they lived in this house, and made us feel very welcome when we moved in.

She came down with pneumonia, and after several days in the hospital, she died last weekend. Despite their pain, her sons have left this display gleaming in her front yard, and I'm displaying it here as a tribute to her.

I, too, am very sorry. I lost my grandmother several years ago at Christmas time. Time heals.
