06 tilt shift spotted

yeah it's in my bag...
and it's genesis showed clearly that time is variable.
As the Q7 left my hand, the world receeded, time became glacial and a series of thoughts arose,
Can I get my foot under it ?
the answer is already sadly evident
first the hardness of the concrete tiles, and then of course the height were considered
Some relief as the lightness of the arrangement was factored in.
The angle of attack a total lottery
a mixture of hope, bemusement, resignation and a bit more hope.
Then the impact, the spring back up rather than the thud.
The sound means the ebay plastic hood...
ok I'm into hope now
Then the sudden flood of the world, the event I'm at, all these people !
adroitly the quick scoop, the 1/3 sec eyeball of the drunken 06
smiling all the while as obviously this was a WR (banker resistant) camera and all was well.
Losing all reason then,
the relocation event occured
when diagnosed dislocation is in fact...a fracture.

feck
looks like the long half still zooms, AF works...sigh
Maybe I'll tape a rubber hood in there to splint the poor sod straight.
Idiot and nothing you can say can increase my pain

For a second, I thought you were serious. There are tilt-shift adapters for Q lenses available now.

Ugh. Hate when that happens. At least you got a good poem out of it. I saw some affordable used 06 lenses on KEH the other day.

Thanks John, i'll see if I can resurrect this one first but it is such a good lens, shame to not have one.

Thanks barondia
i'm going to try to align it with a rubber sleeve.
the long half still works along with AF. I can't imagine it's worth fixing
and I'm south of any planet having service
i just blew the budget on a bandsaw, if all else fails
I'm back to the SMC110 50/2.8 which has its own charm
