Are there any MSN.com alternatives ?

Right now my home page browser is MSN.com, but I'm up to my ears reading about celebrities and seeing their pictures 24/7. Seems like MSN.com is all about L.A. and that "celebrity" life style. Are there any other home page browser alternatives and please don't say AOL which is just as bad..

My home page is Google. Search for something if I want to, or just pull up my emails, etc from favourites - or go to the Pentax Forums.

Any one with real LBA will have four home page tabs, HJ - Adorama, KEH, eBay and KEH opening up simultaneously when you start the browser. :-)

Same here. I have no interest in reading news media websites.

I use Firefox too. It opens to the Mozilla start page by default which consists of nothing more than a search engine. It used to be Google but now they default to Yahoo. This is probably not helping Firefox gain more market share as it is a horrendously bad search engine. Regardless, I rend to ignore the start page go directly to my bookmark list and click where I want to start my day.

I set all my browsers to go to a blank page.
This way is quickest and I can then go wherever I want.
Anything else and you have to wait for the page to load before you can use it.

Google how to set a blank home page for your browser and you will be happy.

I use Yahoo as my Home Page.....Some reasons you might want to try it.....

*It is like a Supermarket Tabloid, full of rumors and poorly written articles that have great appeal to those that are mentally impaired.

*It incites outrage for anyone of any political or religious leaning, like the old P&R here, but a hundred times worse! If you can't get outraged on Yahoo, you know you are brain dead!

*You can wake up in a great mood, open up Yahoo and within minutes be suicidal and think the world might end before you can log off!

* It is in a constant flux of "Beta" mode.......you never know what it will look like from one hour to the next...but you can count on it to be 100% pure certified fabrication and junk!

* Lastly...if you use it as your Home Page long enough, you can quit your job and retire! You will most assuredly qualify for mental disability!

Regards!

how about you set it to a newsfeed reader site (inoreader.com is awesome imho) and subscribe to some feeds that provide the kind of content you are looking for?

I am sticking with Yahoo as my home page. As I am getting older and experiencing all the problems that come with it, Yahoo is eroding my mind so fast I am getting too dumb to realize it. It's sort of like an online lobotomy.

Regards!
