Need help picking a monitor

Hoping on Cyber monday there will be some good deal's. My budget is around 300.00 and size 22-27 in. My current laptop screen is terrible, depends what angle you hold it at, never is the same.
From what I've read an IPS model would fix above problem?
Looking at the Dell U2410 or leaning towards the Asus
PB238Q 100 percent sRGB.
Any help would be grateful and Thank you.

Have a couple of Dells...superb.....and great value for the money. One of them died but I had taken the extended warranty, so it was replaced promptly at no charge.

I bought an ASUS PA248Q 24" color accurate monitor two years ago and it is wonderful! I couldn't be happier with the performance. Too many features to list here, but you can look it up and trust what they have to say about it. Operates perfectly and has perfect color right out of the box.

Regards!

Rupert, I'm not at The Monolith, my big desktop with the ASUS monitor, but I think its the same model or equivalent. 98% sRGB right out of the box, easy fine tuning with my Spyder. Love it!
