This is pretty old news for anyone who sells regularly on fleabay. They have been caning sellers progressively harder for years now. It's pretty unreasonable to expect sellers to shoulder the fraud risk from buyers that only eBay has any control over vetting, but that's the same with Paypal (same company I guess) expecting sellers to pay for fraudulent transactions when they have no control over payments.

I now video the process when sending anything of value and withdraw the funds immediately.

Not any more. Ebay has removed/discontinued support with PayPal.

I had been with ebay and Amazon for approximately 17 years. Unfortunately, there was one too many suspect transactions and just a couple of weeks ago I cancelled both accounts.

I feel better already.
