K-30 with FA 28-105, power zoom not functioning

I'm new to this digital age, so I'm asking for some help. I'm trying to adapt my FA 28-105mm power zoom lens to my new K-30. The lens works perfectly on my old PZ-1P film camera but when I put it on my K-30, the power zoom function does not operate. The lens does focus but I'm stuck at one focal length. I thought I had all the settings correct but looks like I'm missing something. What am I doing wrong.

I don't believe the K-30 supports power zoom (the K-5, K-7, K20, K10 do, as high-end bodies). Pull the zoom ring back to use manual zooming.
