K-30 field monitor

Hello,
Is it possible to attach a field monitor to a K-30?

I need to be able to use a field monitor during video recording. I may want to use it for stills as well.
Does the K-30 retain the capability to capture images while a field monitor is attached via the Pentax I-AVC7 cable?

Thanks

Partial update requested by Adam.

Just tested a Q, K-x and a K-7 using the I-AVC7 cable supplied with the K-7 and a TV.

Works fine on all, both the info screen and Live View. And also on a K-3 via HDMI.

Not tested on a K-30 but should work.
