I clicked-through (as it were) and Pre-ordered my K3 @ BH photovideo. But in the shopping cart it only showed the free memory card, not the extra battery which was indicated in the email of: Oct 7th.

I contacted B&H through their web site and was told the memory card is the only freebie they know of being offered with the K3.

Have I missed something?

As I've pointed out over the course of the past days, the battery was pulled from the offer (before it went live), so only the card remains. Still a nice freebie right off the bat, though

Also, you will still be entitled to an account upgrade on PF once your order ships, as per the instructions in my signature.

any word on the shipping date yet? So far all I have heard is sometime in Nov. Can't wait for my silver K-3 to arrive! Guessing it is already sold out as you can no longer pre-order anywhere? Is that the entire run already of slivers?

More will come in once they're in stock, but they're sold out as far as pre-orders go. I would expect the first few units to start shipping during the first week of November- it all depends on how quickly Pentax USA gets them out to the retailers.

The K-3 will hit the shelves in Japan this Friday.
