So takes your money now and then waits until the camera is available to ship it.

I thought the camera was coming around $1,099? Why would I buy it for nearly $2k even with a 18-135?

Because they're banking (literally) on the fact that some people want the cutting edge before anyone else.. the fine print is already mentioned -- the camera is released on the 22nd so they'll probably ship it then.. and will receive at the same time as everyone else.. but you're not supposed to know that with this deal hahaha

That's nothing compared to the $119 price that was briefly available on the Pentax Webstore for a bare K-3 II body. :-P

Unfortunately, they cancelled my order within 24 hrs LOL. Whoops!
