Richo use to make some of the best point and shoot cameras on the market. They were also very expensive. Are they still in that market ? I went to their website and all I see is water-proof cameras...

Well the Ricoh GR is one of the best compacts out there, still expensive, and still available.

Not sure if that fits your definition of "point and shoot". Maybe you meant a cheaper line of cameras ... but you did mention expensive as well ....

Many manufacturers are abandoning the lower-end point-and-shoot cameras, since cell phone cameras have taken over much of that segment.
