Nothing new there.

Put ALL your gear on shelves - visible - together. If seeing that doesn't stop you . . . . . . your wife will.

As long as you have fewer lenses than your wife has shoes, you're safe!

I find most attempts to relieve my G.A.S. are only temporarily effective. I also notice my G.A.S. tends to get worse after a big Thanksgiving meal.

Actually, G.A.S. is far more dangerous than LBA because it encompasses everything. Think fishing tackle, new chrome and gizmos for the Harley, skis and gear.....it's endless and every year brings out all the newest stuff. LBA is just a drop in the bucket.

BTW, this guys rule #2 is bogus. Not buying new stuff before a year long trip is really the syndrome talking. He is going to buy new stuff when they get there! Do you really think he is going to throw out everything he owns? No way! It's going into storage and all that new stuff is going to come back home because it now has "sentimental value". Very crafty!
