Published photo in a new Nat Geo magazine !

That is a cat picture but ... who cares!
It's on the back cover.
Not great looking here .... this attached picture was taken with a cell phone.

My question. Did you post this to the exclusive gallery? And if so were you told that it isn't National Geographic?

What is the "exclusive gallery" ??
This was posted quite a while back at Nat Geo "Your Shot".
Then, at least a year later, I received a notification asking for permission to use it for "commercial" purposes via a company based in Germany.
Several months later, Nat Geo sent me an email asking permission to use this image on the back cover of the said magazine ... as shown on the photo here.

As mentioned in an earlier post .... first posted at Nat Geo Your Shot, then they asked permission to use it wherever.
So, I guess they found me there!
