'signs of the times' UPDATED!
Lens: Pentax DA 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 AL Camera: Pentax K-x

A camera is a powerful medium. In the hands of some it is an artistic tool. In the hands of others, a scientific instrument of precision. In the hands of anyone can be found a most powerful tool of social media.

In this street protest the tension is witnessed, and in the background can be seen the photographer who is curious and ready to record the movement, emphasizing the importance of the camera in social journalism.

The signs of the times depicts each and everyone of us as mediums of information, within a wave of global awareness that is endeavouring to focus in collectively, looking for a clearer image

I understand why this is so important to you and I agree emphatically with your statement,
but in my opinion, the image is too dark and might be improved by some cropping on the
left side. The movement is very important and this is a brilliant capture of what happened
during the protests but it is a little bit lost....and I really think some tweaking might render
it more powerful.

Thanks so much for the heads up. I agree and will update it (when i first processed this pic it was on a laptop and it seemed alot brighter, though i purposely wanted to make it darker, but turned out wrong) Thanks so much for your tip, i really appreciate the feedback, and will update my post! cheers!
