Flies and a hairy jumper

Shot with a K200 and 50mm f4 macro on tubes. Sunpak ringflash caught in the fly's spit bubble......

Those are really super !
The effect of the ring light is really amazing , especially on that ? droplet of water on the flies leg ... ( ? ) but how many legs does it have ?

Thanks. That is the proboscis, or tongue. They use it for feeding and sometimes will have a water or spit bubble hanging on the end of it.
