I absolutely love your macros! Are these with the lens alone, or with bellows, etc.? Also I'd like to know what kind of spiders you are photographing; hoping I never run across them!

Very clear and detailed shots. Too close for me I am afraid. I like to keep my distance.

I hate spiders. There is no amount of macro/art work that will make them look good. At least not to me. Yikes. I admire the photo work, despise the little buggers.

Thank you every one :
Gear list :
Pentax K30
Sigma 105 Macro lens
Rokunar Ring Flash

The spiders are on the large size ( Orb weavers ) , and inhabit our front yard in the late evening and night . ( Photos taken after 10pm - 22.00 )
Currently we have lots of big spiders around the house , and very few other insects .
One gets the feeling the bigger spiders are eating the rest of the wild life , possibly a real life Macro horror story taking place ... ( Invasion of the spiders )
I haven't even seen a fly near the front door !

I think I'd prefer the flies!! Yikes!

About what distance from them, were you shooting from?

Brave ? I don't know about that ...
Its not like they are going to jump at you .. OK they are on the large side for spiders , and I guess that would freak some out , but they are very calm creatures ..
So I guess if the spider is going to be calm there is no reason I should not be calm also ..
