K-1 Focus Point in Viewfinder Highlight

I just got my Pentax K-1, and I notice that the selected autofocus points in the viewfinder are highlighted slightly in black, and with my glasses are pretty hard to see. Can these focus points show up red as in other Pentax bodies, so they are easier to see especially in daylight shooting? Help!

Yes, there is an illumination option in the menu. Also, all points are lit up when you press the AF mode button.

Hi Adam. Could you specify the exact menu location, as I cannot find it in the illumination options. Appreciate the help.

It's on menu C2, item 9, ""Viewfinder Light".

You can download the K-1 manual to make it easy to search for particular terms.
