This lens is fantastically high resolving. I tested my copy and clearly the K20D's 14.6 megapixels does not even begin to challenge that. Film scanned at 4000dpi does not challenge it. Using Kodak Techpan and optically magnifying it only begins to show how much it can resolve - better than a D800 36.3MP. So if you want to be ready when the Pentax FF finally makes it out, this lens can be a good start! Test results at -> K20D-Techpan-ISO12233 Reschart
