Are my eyes bad, or is that a 105mm f/2.8 macro lens in the pictures that you just posted? According to the original description, you're selling a 70mm 2.8?

I was wondering this too.

I have a copy of that 105mm f/2.8 Sigma lens.. and it is fantastic.. my sharpest, favorite lens (and I have a few or so.. ) Plus, it is a DG lens which, in Sigma speak, means it is Full Frame compatible.

Yup, it is a 105. Been so long since I used it I forgot what I had. Anyway the 105 is what is for sale.

I've heard that the "OS" Sigma lenses tend to eat away at your battery life a lot quicker than Pentax lenses, do you know whether that's true?

I don't know about the battery drain because I never used the OS on the lens but rather relied on the SR in my K3. It probably is true since Pentax lenses don't have OS because of the SR in all of the later bodies.

Ok, so are you saying that if you switch off the OS, then it shouldn't affect battery life? I know that when I was still using a Canon Rebel T3, I got a Sigma 18-250 OS HSM, and I immediately noticed a negative difference in battery life. Switching off the OS didn't really seem to help, but I didn't do any actual tests, so it could have just been my imagination.

I have not done any actual testing but I have not noticed any shorter battery life with this lens with the os turned off.
