DA 18-55mm AL WR kit lens.

The Pentax Limited Zoom Is in really good condition, but it does have some paint wear on the sharp edges, which... considering that I carried this around while hiking in the Rockies is really not that bad. Zero scratches or damage other wise. The front element could use a good cleaning, which I'll do when I receive a new Lens Pen kit.

Includes the leather pouch, front and rear caps, and original box.

The DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL WR kit lens is in similar condition with no paint wear. This is the current version that has a metal mount, check the pics in the link to see for yourself. There are a couple of minor scuffs on the hood that you'll see if you're looking for it. Again, no scratches on the glass, or other damage. I've not used this lens since getting the Limited. I'd rather someone use it.

Includes the original box (not a retail box, it's plain white from Amazon) and the rear cover and front lens cap that I got with it.

Let me know if you have any other questions or wish to see anything specific. Again, there's nothing wrong with these lenses, I'm just getting more of a feel for what I want.

The only trade I would consider would be for an FA 31mm or a Sigma 35mm Art, plus cash if need be, otherwise I'll stick to a sale only.

Love the "rear lens cap" in the kit lens photo! Looks like an ME or ME Super.

If this is one of the versions with the metal mount, you might want to clarify that in the description. You may attract more interest.

Both lenses have metal mounts, thanks for the suggestion, i didn't even realize that the older version was a plastic mount.

Yep, that's a ME Super. Neat little camera, I love the massive viewfinder.

The DA L versions are plastic mount, and they were as much a parallel line as an older one.

I have the ME - no manual shutter speed override, but for what I use it for, it doesn't matter; exposure compensation is enough for me. And yes, both it and the MX have a glorious view. And so TINY! What a pity they can't work with (optically compatible) DA lenses!

Bump, I'm not in any real hurry to sell these lenses, I apologize if that doesn't correspond to your expectation.

I'm being asked about decentering. I've never seen it in my photographs and I took some images with the 20-40 of a star chart. I honestly don't see anything. Those images are @ the flickr link.

THAT SAID... I'm not Digitalis and I don't have an optical test bench, if you would like me to perform a test for this, I'd be more than happy to take a stronger look. Let me know what you'd like to see, and within reason I'll make that happen.
