Some yellowish tint is noted on glass. I think this is normal and I have used this 50 on my Sony aps-c and with beautiful and quality pictures. A 50mm gem.

The lens arrived today, well-packed and apparently in good condition. I'll have to decide which back {I'm testing both PKA and M42} to use in my testing, but it is great to have it so soon. Thank you hinman, and my experience should encourage others thinking of bidding for one of the other lenses listed in this thread.

Truth be told that I hate selling my gear but I have way too much gear. If I figure out an easy way to be organized with my lenses, I will keep all of my Takumar and Tamron adaptall-2 lenses. They are the finest and underrated value types that I have used. When I move to Sony mirrorless, I tried others as in Konica AR, Canon FD, Minolta AF, Contax G, DLK. I keep come back appreciating more on the Takumar and adaptall-2 series.
