This lens Takes 180 * images and is Slightly Cropped For APS-C (top & bottom see photos) But is Full Circular for Full Frame. I have included pictures I took with my K-3 and cropped additionally in Camera. I found the Image quality Excellent and enjoyed the lens for various fun shooting.
Great for Astrophotography, landscape, architecture interior - exterior.
10th picture is 20" bulb shot @ 3200 ISO on Tripod straight up our RV Trailer on right and rising moon just visible on left, beginings of milky Way in centre.Notice solar lights in lower left edge.
I have not used the lens very much as the previous owner didn't either. I have decided to sell this one and buy a Pentax 10-17mm. There is a set of 22.5 filters Red ,Orange Yellow, ND 4X and a normal filter in the lens itself all in a leather case.
The 2 pictures in a separate blog show the affect of the Y52 filter (Yellow) on Sky detail in Black & White Photography. The first Photo is the Normal filter the second has the Y52 screwed in place.
It would give you Full circular 180* on the NEW PENTAX K-1

Affects of Y52 filter in place for Black & White Shots(Least of the 3 colour filters) - Sky & cloud detail and some deepening to Greenery.2 photos below.
Second set of pictures the second picture has the ND X4 inserted and shows the affect of the Neutral Density Filter in place on the Sigma 8mm
The first photo in that set was taken with my new 10-17 pentax.

This is the later variant with A setting for metering on the DSLRs. A definite plus.

I have the plain K-mount version, a fun lens.

Yes A Fun Lens Indeed>>>>>> Did you know that the Sigma 8 mm was developed for film cameras and therefore will cover the Full Frame 180 circular of newer FF e.g. K-1. The Samyang 8mm f3.5 was developed for APS-C and will not cover the full frame on the K-1 and it also is Manual Focus.

The lens is manual focus but as with any extreme fisheye the Focal Range on the Focal Ring is very small & quick same as Samyang f3.5 8mm>>>>>>>>
