Good copy: 9015662 bought at National Camera and Video, Edina, MN.

I had two copies before my third (excellent) copy. The first was blurry at all focal lengths. The second was very sharp, good focus speed, etc in good light, but missed focus 50% of the time in tungsten lighting - BF mostly. The third still misses focus in dim tungsten lighting, but maybe only 10% of the time - about the same rate as my other lenses, including the FA 50 1.4, etc.

Except for those 10% of dim tungsten shots, this third copy is absolutely stellar and a thrill to use.
