Thanks Jay. This image was right out of the K10 with no post processing. That is something else I don’t know how to do yet. Thanks for being patient with my learning curve. The resolution on the K 300mm looks pretty good to me. I like the colour saturation as well. As I play around in Photoshop and enlarge the image the detail in the feathers and water droplets are extremely sharp. I am toying with the idea of getting the DA* 300. I like the SMC K 300 a lot but would welcome something a more current. This goose was in a spectacular turf fight over nesting grounds just after I took this shot. No hope of catching the action with this old timer.

I’ll take the M 150mm out when it stops raining and see how it performs. If you have a 135mm already I don’t think there is enough difference in focal length to justify getting one. Not enough difference unless you are a collector or have a terminal case of LBA.
