Post your Prime Portraits

I haven't seen a thread like this on the forum; hopefully I did not glance right over it. Anyways, post your favorite portraits shot with any prime lens (feel free to list the lens you used as well) I hope this can be fun for all!
Both shot with a SMC - M50mm f1.7

Hard to say this is my favorite, as it's my mother-in-law(!), but I thought it did come out nice. FA 77 Ltd.

Edit: I just noticed that the exif says the flash did not fire, but it did, with a beauty dish. You can even see the catch-lights in her eyes.

I had a hard time picking my favorites as well, but I would love to have an FA 77ltd for shooting!

FROM THE FIRST TIME EVER THAT I TRIED TO DO A Portrait.

I had just bought the DA 70mm lens because I had read that it was a fine portrait prime. Put the camera on a tripod, because someone had said that was the thing to do, then put it at f2.8 because someone had said that was the way to blur the background and make most of the face look soft etc.

[It was my daughter's birthday and they were having face painting done. This was a shot of one of her friends. At that time I did not even know you could post process. So this is basically what I got from the camera].

I still like this shot and a couple more like it from that day. Ever since that day, the DA 70mm has been one of my favorite lens.

I love the casual portraits, they seem to have the most life in them

Here's two recent ones I'm happy with as I don't shoot people all that often. Both with the SMC-A 50/1.4.

Thx very much. That was the first shoot I did after getting the 135mm 2.5. That photo was pretty much straight out of the camera. Totally fell in love with that lens after that day. Green button or not, it's a joy to shoot with.

Nice. The B&W is lovely. I need to get my 50mm 1.7 back in the rotation (the 58mm Nokton has kinda usurped it). I love the images it produces:
