I forgot this film was still in my old camera from the late seventies and had it developed anyway.

Good job. I am trying desperately to figure out what to do with the image...maybe Godzilla?

That was actually the first thing that came to mind. Replace girl with Godzilla

I say go for it. I have an idea I'm still trying to figure out how to accomplice but it doesn't involve Godzilla.

Been a while since I've "played." I've missed this! Been far from home for several months away from all my good "tools." (For the record... even a decent laptop will NEVER trump a color-calibrated monitor!)

Anyway.... look what we found in Grandma's Attic... This handsome guy just looks like he came right out of an old Victorian zoo. Got that "old soul" look in his eyes. Enjoy

There's way too much material here to pass up on, so I'll have a go.

The challenge will be open until midnight *Tuesday* the 6th.
By the way, any thoughts on DOF in these challenges? My thought is that thin DOF would allow less processing options and would therefore be undesirable (I rejected a few shots for this reason).

I don't remember ever working on an image before with a very thin DOF but I do see where it could be limiting. Tight crops are another type of image that minimizes the processing options.

FREEDOM! - Let's turn that frown upside down and place this animal where it should be!

Basically, I borrowed a picture of the amazon from here: Visiting the Reserve | ALLPAHUAYO MISHANA BED&TREES
I edited your raw to so that the light matched. (atleast my guess of what a tapir should look like) then just pasted it together.
