Post-Processing Challenge #165

Sorry for the delay but here it goes folks! Post processing challenge #165.

I took this shot a couple of years ago in California using a K5 and a 21mm. I am by far not a Post Processing master so I kind of struggled with which photo would be interesting to process. Let's see what you guys can do with this one.

Here is the link to the original PEF file.

Let's see what you got....

@alamo5000, what do you think, should there be a limit for entries? One color, one B&W, or just one period?

You noticed! I chose one on purpose that will see if people can use various tools and techniques to make it better. (Seriously I did)

I don't have the skills, but this image is just screaming for someone to hide a Road Runner and Wile E Coyote in it

Just a bit more clarification since I guess I have leeway here

Yes two entries but if you have something that falls into another category don't be shy. Put them up. What I think is to stay away from doing 3 or 4 color and 3 or 4 this or that. Nothing is set in stone so by all means don't be shy about submitting entries. Just try to keep it to one per genre.

For example the black and white and the duo tone above are not considered the same by me.

Happy processing

LOL!

No not really. I want people to participate but I also want them to be intentional and thoughtful about their submissions. For me these little challenges are a way to get better at what we do, not just throw darts at a board hoping something sticks.

Thats what I am after and part of how I will judge

I like your photo.

Edit: I tried a B&W conversion. After doing so, I thought the dark brush on the lower-left became a little too pronounced, so I cropped.

Thank you! That part of California that I was in at the time was pretty nice. I really did struggle with which photo to choose for the contest...Ultimately I just had to pick something and go with it.
