Thanks todd for challenge #196 !

It's difficult to choose a challenging image. This is from last weekend, a trip to the High coast in Sweden.

The challenge will close next monday 24th October.

My shot at it...

Did a pseudo HDR to bring out cloud detail, then some Topaz Adjust clarify, then masked and increased contrast of the distant hills to eliminate some of the haze and bring out more detail there, then cropped and added a light vignette.

Feeling cold & rainy here near Seattle, so decided to go for the same... that eerie weirdness before the bad weather sets in.
( and yeah.... glad we could all agree on a crop up to this point... it just *wants* this framing

)

Post-Processing Challenge #197

Processed in SilkyPix Developer Studio Pro 7. Some geometry corrections in DxO Viewpoint. Living in Estonia and having visited Scandinavia many times I can clearly imagine how this scene could have looked liked in real life. With my post-processing I tried to match the source file to the picture I had in my head. I also wonder if overexposure was intentional, to make things harder
