And now, I have some good news, and some bad news.
The good news: I bought a lens today!
The bad news: It wasn't an FA 50 1.4.
I bought a used Pentax SMC 100mm f4.0 macro.
I do intend to get an FA 50 1.4 soon, but I didn't want the macro to slip away.
I'll write more on this when I start a thread on it.

I agree with KungPOW.. I just got my 50 f1.4 last night.. It is built much better than I expected! It has a nice weight to it. It feels real solid. I also received in the mail today my email purchase of a rubber pentax lens hood. It fits perfect and is collapsible. I took some shots of the cat and dog, but will not post any pics of them.. I have already done that too much! yay for me yay for me!
