New to the forum.

Hello! New to the forum and I wanted to introduce myself. I inherited a Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic SP 2. I been using this site to read up on a new battery. From a couple different threads I was able to find a battery that works!

Welcome, there's plenty of good information around the forum, if you can't find what you need just ask.

Lenses

With this camera I've got a Takumar SMC 1.4 50mm, Tarmron 5.6 300mm. Also have a Tarmorn adaptall custom mount and a Honywell Auto Strobonar 460 flash.

I bought a Sony - Nex 5R a little over a year ago. I'm slowly teaching myself about photographing and camera know how. Maybe you guys could help me with a few questions.

I've been reading alot and watching videos on how to clean lenses. Should I avoid using alot of lens cleaning solution when cleaning? Just use a brush? I heard excessive cleaning can cause the coatings to come off.

I've also been looking at adapters for my Sony. I would like to be able to buy more M42 lenses and use them on my Nex. Do any of you recommend a particular brand of adapter that is of the high quality type? And are there different types I should know about?
