looking for a friendly place...

Hi there,
I'm new to this forum, looking for friendly place to learn, exchange and discuss photography and imaging. I've been using Ricoh cameras since the GRD1 was released in 2006 (this one is still alive and serving well in the hands of my daughter) , then I got a GRD4 (big jump although GRD1 had something quite magic that the following generations could not emulate !) that I sold to buy a GR almost the month it was released.
I'd like to share a video clip that I just finished 100% shot with the small GR and a gorilla pod for a total weight of 300 grams.. I'm still amazed by what this little camera can do :
I'm based in South West France with many opportunities to travel the world for business. This is where a camera like the Ricoh is unvaluable: always in my luggage, ready to shoot almost anything you throw at it.

Yes, a small form camera can be the best tool for travel, or even just hiking around in cities etc.
