Always trying to look over the rim of my teacup - that's why I registered here, even though I am a Nikon user. I think, I will get tons of good ideas and suggestions :-)

90% of what's here is applicable to any DSLR or any camera for that matter. Technique is platform-neutral.
Be forewarned, though, you might see Pentax users treating their gear in ways which may frighten you! (We love our weather-sealing)

We might be envy as there are two very nice books in German:
'Pentax K-3 Das Buch zur Kamera' by Benno Hessler
and
'Fotografie mit der Pentax K-3' by Ralf Spoerer.
Actually I ordered both of them (amazon.de, amazon.co.uk), the former is kind of extended K-3 user technical manual, the latter came yesterday but at the first glance it's also very nice book covering interesting subjects.
