Hello to everybody,

I am from Serbia, but currently living in France.

I've been visiting this forum for a while and today I have decided to join in. Well, I'm a biologist, making my living from research on birds and bats. Photography has been around as well, at least for a while. Previously I've owned several bridge cameras and one SLR, Canon AE-1 with several lenses. Recently I've bought a Pentax k-x for next to nothing, but with a malfunctioning rear panel. I've taken it apart, found the problem, fixed it and now I'm here. Following the reviews on this site I've decided to buy two lenses to begin with, SMC Pentax-A 35-70mm F4 and Rikoh Rikenon P 50mm F2 and for now I am very happy with both the camera and lenses. I am also experimenting with custom made lenses and modifications. I come here to learn and exchange.

You'll find plenty of outdoors and nature pictures with this group.
