Look forward to meeting and chatting with other pentax users - just recently started photography again after years . Started 40 years ago with a Pentax spotmatic and manual lens - not changing film after 36 shots is amazing as is not waiting for the darkroom just to see what you ve shot! Lots to learn

Welcome aboard bobble. There is a bit of a learning curve for digital. Modern camera instruction manuals are more like NYC yellow pages. Initial advise: don't try to remember all the options a digital camera offers. Learn the very basics and get to shooting ASAP. Look up and learn additional camera features if and when you need them. Did a lot of B&W darkroom work, and it's really cool to be able to do even more image manipulation on color with no worry about the age and temperature of chemicals.
