Hello from Canada

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum (sort of I this is my first post I have been a member for some time now just learning from a distance) I have finally decided to get serious about photography. I have a Pentax SLR Digital Camera K-x, and was wondering where in this form I can get help with any questions about this model. I have two lens PENTAX 55-300 and PENTAX 18-55, I do not see any topic or sub forum with the K-x topic, I know this is a basic camera but think it is a good one to learn on before I start to spend money, I have three years until I retire at which time I plan to photograph coast to coast to coast (Canada and the USA) Thanks and looking forward to making some friends

I will be 57 years old when I retire and will have the rest of my life to travel so yes we (my wife and I ) will be sure to take our time Ha ha!

Kx is good same sensor as Kr so can expect similar results. I would suggest investing in a 50mm f1.8 f1.7 or f1.4 lens. Manual versions can be had for less yhan $50.
