Hello, new k3ii owner.

After much deliberation, I'm now a happy owner of a k3ii. 35mm prime 1.8 for a first lens. Looking forward to adding to that.

I have the K-3II also, and a Pentax 16-85 lens. Welcome to the forums.

Hello, new k3ii owner.

Hi Joe. Welcome to the Pentax forums. You have chosen well with the K-3II. Any help or advice you may need is only a question away.
Good to have you here.

Oops, my mistake. I wasn't thinking when I made this post so I could PM someone on the for sale forum. It is the 35mm 2.4 prime.

My mistake, made this post in haste because I wanted to PM someone about a 100mm Macro DFA WR. My first lens is the 35mm 2.4 prime. A bit noisy, but a very nice lens. First prime ever. Last camera was a Sony A200.

Congrats on the K-3II, fine camera. I have the HD 20-40 Ltd as walkaround on mine.

Hello Joe, and welcome to the forums - great to have you with us! The K-3II is a superb camera - a really great choice. The DA35 f/2.4 is one of my favourite lenses - it's a perfect focal length for general use, it's sharp even wide open, and it produces very pleasing bokeh. It's rather plasticky and unrefined in build quality compared to the K-3II, but don't let that put you off - it's a cracking bit of glass. I'm sure you'll love it
