New website layout

Am I the only one who looks at the new layout on the opening page and finds it mind numbingly confusing? I am a wiper snapper and can generally make heads or tails out of pretty complicated looking internet sites and navigate them with relative ease. I don't know who came up with this new look, but it's just not very clear. It's hard to distinguish what's new news, what's old. Then you've inserted things like the last review of something and latest forum post area in the middle of the homepage news. Tell me this just a trial run and something better is in the works?

The new homepage is certainly a big change from the old, dated layout, but it's been very positively received so far.

Pretty much everything on the front page is new. The articles are dated so you can see exactly when each piece of content was posted - look in the lower-left corner of each thumbnail.

I could skip the new Homepage and bookmark straight to the Forum, but don't. I like to look over the Homepage for a quick snap of what's new or might be interesting to me. Looks good to me! Confusing? Heck, I live in a state of confusion, so it all seems more than easy, and in fact well laid out.

Only thing I would like to see more of is a plug in the "Latest Forum Discussions" for the Toy Camera thread. If I could bribe a plug into that area on the Homepage....I'd sure consider it!

Regards!

I like the new homepage. The changing banner keeps me up-to-date with the latest reviews.
Maybe if it took one second longer between changes though...
I'm not a whipper-snapper. It takes me that extra second to figure out what I'm looking at sometimes.
