What they have to do is get rid of popular voting, tell us who the curators are, and perhaps provide us a little flag with a general idea of why an image got rejected: technical, composition, missing EXIF, etc. I would not expect a rating or details -- that takes too much time. As it stands there is not much motivation for entering, especially as a bug in their software means it cannot read the EXIF in my files.
