why not look on eBay for a good used Technics? they're really good and a lot cheaper than a new one. for example, I've got a Technics SL-220. Yeah, I just haven't gotten around to it...I'm still trying to find some nice '80s floor speakers and receiver for the 36" tall media rack I bought from Goodwill for $8

Full-on 80s Hifi system for the bedroom, which is going to be styled in the 80s too
