I'm fine with either the Distillery District or the Brickworks.

I've been to the Distillery District before, it has a mix of art studios, restaurants, cafes and stores in the old distillery buildings. It shouldn't be a problem to grab a table or 3 on one of the outdoor patios if people want to get coffee/beer/snacks and talk for a bit. There is pay parking in several lots on site and nearby and the streetcar runs within walking distance.

I haven't been to the (Evergreen) Brick Works before. Anybody know how it is set up or what is operating there now? It looks like there is a farmer's market on Saturday which may present some interesting photo ops. Another question might be whether it's accessible by transit, though I would be driving and it doesn't make a difference to me.

As far as I can tell neither location has anything big on its calendar for September 6th which means we shouldn't have to worry about special events crowding us out.
