A techie friend of mine has offered to upgrade a beautiful Toshiba laptop that I used to use while traveling (very thin, great display, only internal drive is a too small HD). My thought is that I can use it with the Remote Assistant, tethered to my K10D when shooting portraits and interiors; I don't intend to do any post processing on it. Can anyone that has been using Remote Assistant tell me what the minimum computer configuration needs to be, in order to work properly?
