Step 1: Create a joint GMail account.
Step 2: viksoe.dk - GMail Drive shell extension Download the GMail Drive shell extension
Step 3: Install shell extension
Step 4: Open up Windows Explorer, and log into your joint GMail account
Step 5: Drag-n-drop all your files in the Explorer window (you can also create folders etc, files must be 20 MB or less)
Step 6: wait for it to finish, and instruct the receiving party to go through Steps 2-4. Receiving party will see the files exactly as you have uploaded them - like they were on a flash drive or DVD. They never get deleted unless you delete them yourself. Don't forget to tell receiving party the email name and address.
Step 7: If you ever reach your ~7 GB quota, just create joint Gmail account_2.

Files can be accessed via the GDrive extension OR the regular Gmail interface (though then you'd have to download the files one at a time).

Sneaky little trick, wouldn't you say?
